Computerized Adaptive Testing in Corporate E-learning Full Text (PDF, 114KB) Author:  Dusanka Milanov, Miodrag Ivkovic, Kemal Kačapor Abstract:  The goal of this paper is to present and analyse the potential of E-learning and computerized adaptive testing, as a part of it, within a corporate context. Over the years, technological growth led to creation of learning organizations and knowledge economy so the solution for constant and cost-effective training of staff had to be found. That is where E-learning proved to be one of the most efficient solutions in a business organization. In the paper, features and segments of corporate E-learning will be presented. Meanwhile, fundamentals of computerized adaptive testing, item response theory and algorithm procedure are going to be described. Presentation of the "Guide for Grantees" to the DDS project coordinators 20.02.2009, WUS Austria Sarajevo office The implementation of WUS Austria's  Degree Development Structure (DDS) project, implemented within WUS Austria's programme " Austrian Support to Higher Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina 2008 – 2011", financed by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), officially commenced in January 2009 with the signing of the contracts with BiH faculties/universities for the implementation of four new study programmes. With the aim of enabling smooth implementation of the project, WUS Austria developed a document, "Guide for Grantees", detailing all project implementation procedures. eLearning – eContent Program Seminar „eContent Production" The seminar „eContent Production" was held on October 19 and 20 at the University Center for the Development of eLearning in Tuzla. Participants of the seminar were BH and EU experts, eContent developers, professors and assistants whose courses are going to be transformed into eContent, other university representatives and guests. Altogether 30 persons participated in the seminar. For a look at the participant's list, please click here. The purpose of the seminar was for the eContent developers and the professors and assistants to meet at one place, to get familiar with the concepts of eLearning-eContent and the capacities of each eContent team / university.
